INGREDIENTS:

1 CUP MOONG
1/2 CUP FINELY CHOPPED TOMATOES
1/2 CUP FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS
1/2 CUP LON FINELY SHREDDED CARROT+CABBAGE
1   TBS RAW MANGOES FINELY CHOPPED
1/2 CUP FINELY CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES
2   GREEN CHILLIES FINELY CHOPPED
1/2 CUP BAREEK BHEL KI SEV
2   TBSP GREEN CHUTNEY
2   TBSP IMLI MEETHI CHUTNEY
SALT TO TASTE


METHOD:

SOAK MOONG FOR 8 HOURS IN LUKEWARM WATER.
REMOVE WATER.
KEEP IN WET CLOTH FOR 10 HOURS
KEEP CLOTH WET PROPERLY
TAKE ALL MOONG IN ONE BOWL.
MIX IN ALL CHOPPED VEGETABLES IN MOONG
MIX ALL CHUTNEYS
MIX IN CORIANDER LEAVES+GREEN CHILLIES
MIX IN SALT+CHAT MASALA
MIX ALL VERY WELL
SERVE IN PLATE
SPREAD BAREEK BHEL SEV ON TOP.
IT IS READY TO EAT.

CAN BE SERVED WITH FRUIT JUICE OR MILK SHAKE.

Ingredients

150 gms sliced raw mangoes
150 gms sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tsp dried mint leaves (phudina) powder
11 cups crushed ice

Method
  1. Boil raw mangoes slices in 3 cups water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain water of it.
  3. Add 2 cups water to cooked mangoes.
  4. Mash water and mangoes together.
  5. Drain water in previously drained water.
  6. Do again by adding 2 cups water in mango pulp.
  7. Add sugar,salt,cumin powder,mint powder to drained water.
  8. Stir nicely.SERVE CHILLED

Method
  1. Grate boiled potatoes, add salt and mix well. Keep aside.
  2. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, add the onions, cabbage and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the corn and salt, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add green chillies, coriander and mix well. Keep aside to cool.
  5. Divide the mixture into 8 portions.
  6. Divide the potato mixture into 8 portions.
  7. Flatten s potato ball on palm, place a portion of cooked mixture abd bring all sides together to seal the edges well.
  8. Repeat the same with remaining 7 portions to make 7 more balls.
  9. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the balls till they turm golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  10. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot.

DELICIOUS SUZI PANCAKES

Makes 4 to 6 servings


Ingredients

3 cups semolina (rava)
1 cup curds (dahi)
salt to taste
butter for cooking
green chutney to taste
tomato ketchup to taste

For The Stuffing
100 gms mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
100 gms chopped onions
salt to taste
200 gms boiled and mashed potatoes
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 green chillies
2 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
100 gms finely chopped carrots

100 gms finely chopped onions
100 gms finely chopped cabbage

 

Method
  1. Combine the curds and semolina and mix well.
  2. Add salt, mix well and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a tawa, apply some butter and spread the 2 tbsp dough
  4. Cook on both the sides till golden brown.
  5. Spread any one of toppings and cook the pancake until it turns crisp.
  6. Roll and serve hot.
